Summary0001732: [Smart3][PAI] Reviewing the installation of an applist through PAI without running setup wizzard
DescriptionHi Kerwin

After checking several things with SKB,
It has been confirmed that setup wizard is not running and an app is installed through PAI.
The test method is as follows.

[Preset] if the YouTube Kids app is included as Prebuilt, do the following
- delete /system/app/YouTubeKidsTv/ after remount
- Reboot and proceed with the test below

[Test method]
1) After booting, use the ps command to kill the apps below
    - com.android.vending
    - com.android.vending:background
2) Run the PlayStore app
3) Run the command below
  am startservice -n com.android.vending/com.google.android.finsky.setup.VpaService -d "vpaservice://installdefault"

If you proceed with the test in this way, YouTubeKids will be installed through PAI.
Is it possible to create an app or service that can be performed according to the above procedure?
If it's impossible, please explain why it's not possible.

Hi YK,

The command only work in userdebug/eng build. (it's for test only).

We also check the "PAI Frequently Asked Questions"
